you were erased

As the future descends 

in the powder of doubt, 

you were blown away 

to outer nothingness, 

I knew this would happen.

My mind turned blank. 

And there is no depth 

to that love anymore, 

not even for you.

Eventually, it'll resurface, 

but empty as my thoughts, 

clean as my shed tears, 

and dirty as my heart.

Looking afar at the emptiness 

as everything left behind 

burns away my prayers.

And now it all sank 

to the bottom of my anguish, 

vanishing along those flowers. 

This is so futile and lonely, 

such as fate eroding in the void.
