I’m grasping these feelings,
but they’re falling away
to where eternity is endless.

Just like these words
wandering lost forever
in the desert of dreams.

Could you see past my heart
and tell if it’s still beating
or just buried in the sands
where I swirled and begged
for these rambling desires?

In the distance a melody resounds with the veil of an old broken beauty, like poison languishing in our tongues. Dead dreams glooming in lost tears whipping the flesh of my false beliefs my punishment is to catter the seven seas.
