These days I'm all adrift,
watering something dull
because my roots are lost.

"I thought it was forever.
 I thought that grief was my all”

I'm spilling these hopes high
because I don't want to look back.
There is nothing I can take from it anymore.

"I thought you were my reason.
I thought I could love you forever"

Even these scars healed by themselves
because the jewels I submerged
are now pierced by new dreams.

In the distance a melody resounds with the veil of an old broken beauty, like poison languishing in our tongues. Dead dreams glooming in lost tears whipping the flesh of my false beliefs my punishment is to catter the seven seas. Doom has blown its trumpet permanence has torn apart all eternity suffering will evermore be my mark. Pain is the path I'm willingly imprisoned, love has become a plagued hellscape.
