Her Call

When darkness buries me beneath,
I feed my own flesh to mother earth
so grass may erase me in my bequeath.

I unravel myself in her shadows
until I'm no longer corporeal
drowning in her cosmic enclosure.

She cloaks my eyes with misery,
her chill voice steeps in as fire
so that her disparity may mercilessly weep on me.
